Fashion Cares.. The Fashion Network Causes event

The Fashion Network Causes Event

My final image for the 'Fashion for a Cause' campaign run by The Fashion Network, supporting Animal Rights with Bebhin Kelly.

Last night the images for the campaign were finally revealed to a selection of Dubai's fashion crowd at an exclusive event hosted by the Fashion Network. As always everyone looked super fabulous and i forgot my camera, but luckily there was an abundance of brilliant photogrpaher roaming around the venue with camera so i posed instead.  It has been amazing taking part in this campaign and i look forward to doing lots more with these fab bloggers and the amazing Fahsion Network ♥

With the darling Farah, who was rocking some sexy tights, louboutins and of course a Balenciaga. I wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress and my second skin, aka, biker jacket from Zara.

You pose for animal cruelty but you're probably okay with slaughtering them for food.I hate how hypocritical people can be.

Hi Anonymous, I respect your point of view but I don't agree that this is hypocritical. I'm against using animals for fashion and in no way am I discussing nutrition/vegetation habits here.

Would also be nice if you would share such criticism in your true identity.. just a thought.

My identity's got nothing to do with it but I do appreciate your open mind.
Of course you won't discuss nutrition/vegetarian habits here because god put animals on this planet for you to eat. Wait, if you really are religious, presumably Muslim, would you be wearing the stuff you do on this blog? Yeps, that's that 'hijab' thing your god asks for. Hypocrisy no 2.

Oh and I hope that biker jacket is not made out of real leather. I wouldn't want to think of that horrible animal that had to give up its skin for your second one aka your zara biker jacket.

As much as i appreciate the fact that you read my post in details, i refuse to engage in an argument over these issue here.

Thanks.

Anonymous,
First off coming here and bashing on someone and hiding behind an "anonymous" identity is pretty pathetic. just sayin.
Also, Why are you bringing religion into this??? Are you God? Do you have the right to judge anyone? This blog isnt about religion so I dont see the point in bringing that here and calling someone out on their religion and saying theyre not abiding it is a sin....that is for god to judge and him alone. just cuz you cover your face and doesnt make you a good muslim. A pedophilic rapist can wear a niqab...would that make them a good muslim in your eyes. but thats enough on religion since thats not what this blog is about.
So im assuming you are a vegetarian since you posted this (or if you're not a vegetarian thatwould make you a carnivore who is ok with torturing kittens in their basement, since you know, eating meat = condoning animal cruelty)
so as a vegetarian, why dont you go around and destroy all the rainforests and cut down all the trees, set fire to some parks, etc.
cuz ...you know you're ok with eating plants which means you should be ok with destroying the whole ecosystem, no? i mean...thats the mentality you seem to be preaching.

I'm glad majority of people are like you.. i generally disregard any comment from people who hide behind false/non-existent identities.

You know Anonymous,
Im glad there are people like you in this world, to remind the rest of us of how much better we are than you. If you're that passionate about animals rights or hating muslims why dont you go out and save a cow from a farm. There are varying degrees with everything in life, I disagree with animal cruelty like most people in life but I do enjoy eating meat. Why? Because Im a human being and that's part of my diet. Bringing this bloggers religion into it is both none of your business and none of your concern since you don't know what kind of muslim she is. Im assuming by your comments you aren't Muslim so do you go around adhering to the fundamentalist version of your faith? No better yet, there are studies indicating that plants actually feel pain and scream when they're cut. So what about them? Dont they deserve pity and groups like PETA to protect them because they have feelings too? I say become a vegetarian not because you love animals but because you hate plants. If you want to go on someones blog (someone who is putting themselves out and making their identity and points of view available to the world) at least have the decency to put forward a name. Freedom of speech comes with the cost of accepting the consequences of your actions.

Now Im going to get back to my delicious ham sandwhich.
